Public Information – Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport
This evening, a HiSky aircraft operating the Bucharest – Hurghada (Egypt) route reported the activation of a cabin pressurization sensor.
The aircraft commander decided, in accordance with standard safety procedures, to return to Henri Coandă International Airport. The aircraft is currently flying over the area to reduce weight and prepare for landing in optimal conditions. The estimated duration of this maneuver is approximately one hour.
There are 180 passengers and 6 crew members on board.
The Bucharest-Ilfov Emergency Situations Inspectorate (ISU BIF) was notified and activated the preventive intervention plan at the airport. The following are mobilized on site:
• 10 water and foam firefighting vehicles (ASAS)
• 1 extrication vehicle (AScM)
• rescue teams
• 4 SMURD teams
• 1 mobile intensive care unit (UTIM)
• 2 SABIF ambulances
The measures are strictly preventive, according to the protocol applicable in such situations, to ensure a rapid response in the event of a medical or technical need.

Passenger Turmoil: Video footage circulating on social media shows travelers ducking behind check-in counters and barricading themselves in airport lounges as gunfire echoed near the entrances.

petrp: Viděl jsem zprávy o NOTAMu pro letiště v Sofii, kde mají provoz v noci na zítřek a na pozítří vyhrazený na pár hodin jen pro vojáky. Parkují tam v nezanedbatelném množství KC-135 USAF, které nedávno přiletěly. Uvidíme, jestli to neodpískají nebo neposunou.

petrp: Přistání jsem na sledovacích aplikacích neviděl, signál skončil cca v 1 km výšky někde u Abu Dhabi, ale nejspíš v UAE sednul. Na FR24 byly vidět stopy Tritonovo trasy u Iránu, a vzhledem k možnému útoku v noci na zítra se mohli Iránci snažit všemi prostředky, aby zvěda vyřadili z provozu...
