One of the Let 410 prototypes and the oldest of this aircraft in service crashed in Democratic Republic of Congo on 21.10.2010. C/n X0101 32 years old aircraft was lost in the hills terrain around the airport of departure (on Tracep cargo Bukavu - Shabunda flight). The 9Q-CUA registered L410 was the most known as OK-IYA by Aeronautical Research and Test Institute Prague (1981-2003),
sold to Africa then.
