easyJet to connect Prague with Newcastle

easyJet will open a new route from Prague next year. The orange planes will fly twice a week to Newcastle in the UK. The first flight is scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 2, 2026. The carrier will also offer Thursday flights.

Low-cost carrier easyJet has grown a lot in Prague in the last few years. The current timetable shows flights connecting Prague with twenty destinations (Bordeaux, Naples, Nantes, Glasgow, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Belfast, Liverpool, Manchester, Bristol, London (Gatwick), London (Luton), Amsterdam, Basel, Geneva, Lyon, Milan (Malpensa), Nice, Porto, and Lisbon).

Despite serving more than twenty destinations from Prague, easyJet does not plan to open a base at the airport. The easyJet Group operates a fleet of 353 Airbus A320 family aircraft. The average age of easyJet aircraft is 11 years.

Currently, Jet2 isthe only company flying on the Prague-Newcastle route. It flies twice a week, every Monday and Friday.
