OK-XGA, an ex-CSA Czech Airlines Boeing 737-500 has completed a test flight after almost a year of grounding yesterday, followed by her sister-ship OK-XGB today. Both planes are being prepared for a flight to Africa where they should start flying again, under Zimbabwian AOC. The remaining three 735s are supposed to follow them to the new owner in Q1.

The regular direct flights between the Czech Republic and Russia have a new destination. Ural Airlines add direct flights between Chelyabinsk and Prague from 05.04.2014. Korean Air informed Czech Aeroholding that they decided to exercise the option for a further 34% stake in CSA Czech Airlines. These shares will subsequently be sold to Travel Service, the largest charter, regular routes and private airline in the country. The shareholders of Czech Airlines will be as follows: Korean Air 44%, Travel Service 34%, Czech Aeroholding 19.74% and Ceska pojistovna 2.26%.
