MoreHolidays Czech Airlines took delivery of their first A320. The aircraft with construction number 2180 (OK-HCB) landed at Ruzyne airport at 15:20 today. The second A320, new c/n 4699 not taken up by Nouvelair, will follow in May, bringing the fleet of Czech charter airline to four (including 2 B737-400, OK-WGX and OK-WGY).
MoreSwedish Transport Agency has decided to withdraw the Air Sweden's operating license on 21.04.2011 morning with immediate effect. The decision was made due to company's poor financial situation and expectation that the airline could not fulfill their obligations under the EC regulation to keep appropriate operating licence. The company A320 (SE-RJN) was on SmartWings Prague - Paris - Prague flight that day and was not already allowed departed with passengers back to Prague.

MoreTravel Service Boeing 737-800 (OK-TVH) landed in Prague early morning today, back from one year ACMI lease to Somon Air (Tajikistan). Czech aircraft operated e.g. flights from Dushanbe to Almaty, Dubai, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Krasnoyarsk, Orenburg, St. Petersburg and to Moscow, which was its last service by Tajik carrier yesterday.
