L-410UVP reg. 1504 (c/n 851504) of Czech Air Force is preserved since the end of april in Prague-Kbely aircraft museum. Aircraft was bought in 1992 by Czechoslovak Air Force and after the republic was split the aircraft belonged to Czech Air Force with base at Prague-Kbely.

Bulgarian Air Max added former Farnair L410 HA-LAC (stored at Budapest as T9-AAC) to operate cargo flights between Sofia and Budapest. The registration will be LZ-RML pretty soon.

The L-410s finished their service in Costarica. After the crash of c/n 861620 (reg. YS-09-C) in January 2000, the local Civil Aviation Authority banned the type from flying after finding irregularities in manuals and many other problems. The Moldavian Tepavia-Trans Ltd. Company, which owns some Antonov aircraft, added to their fleet an L-410UVP at the end of the last year. The plane, c/n 820909, was with Aeroflot as CCCP-67349 (and RA-67349) earlier and was withdrawn from use in 2000.

The oldest Turbolet in Russia is possible to see on sport airfield at Borki, Tver Region. It's L-410MU, c/n 781110 with 2181K registration, flying for local troopers. There are very few flyable L-410s in version M remaining, e.g. TN-AGD (c/n 781116) aircraft in Benin. It is necessary to mention two a/c in MA version closer, reg. Interesting Ukrainian Turbolet visited Bydgoszcz this February. Blue-grey L-410UVP reg. UR-VTV (c/n 810705, ex CCCP-67069) with Baltika title is going to base there Rovno Universal Avia company for mail flights.

Next L-410 was identified in Democratic Republic of Congo. It's an L-410UVP reg. 9Q-CAZ (c/n 790205, ex UR-67169). There are still many Turbolets with unknown constructions numbers for us in this country, e.g. 9Q-CEM (seen at Kinshasa February 2004), 9Q-CEO (Kinshasa November 2005), 9Q-CEU, 9Q-CQX (Lagos, Nigeria in March 2002) and 9Q-CZN (Kinshasa February 2004). It is quite difficult to find informations about these aircraft flying in Congo and any help to find previous identity is welcomed.

Bulgarian Heli Air Services company joined to the fleet three L-410UVP-E. The aircrafts are L-410UVP-E10 reg. LZ-CCR (c/n 892301, ex SP-FTX), UVP-E reg. LZ-CCS (c/n 902425, ex 3D-EER) and UVP-E10 reg. LZ-CCT (c/n 912528, ex ST-DND).

One of the new L-410 Estonian company AirEst arrived to Prague today. L-410UVP-E reg. ES-LLA (c/n 902416) technical landed on the way from Ljubljana to Ostrava. It returned from lease in Equatorial Guinea, where operated cargo flights by local Guinea Cargo company. Aircraft is still in full c/s of its previous owner Kazan 2nd Aviation Enterprise, but AirEst titles are applied. There were interesting additional "Operated by Guinea Cargo" titles under pilot cabin.

There is L-410UVP-E reg. TG-TJL flying in Guatemala since 2002. The identity was not known so far. The news is that this aircraft is ex TI-AVU reg. (c/n 952623) of Aero Costa Sol.
