Summer break came after sole 4 weeks of operating the Prague - Geneva Czech Connect Airlines service (02.06.-03.07.2011). The airline will return to this route on 22.09.2011 if adequate demand will be generated to renew the flights. Prague - Athens Thursday and Sunday service, introduced on 30.06., are cancelled at all and no flights planned after 25.07.2011.

CCA Slovakia officially changed their name to Sayegh Aviation Europe at the beginning of July. The airline returned to charter market in June, when new owners from United Arab Emirates invested into the grounded ex-Czech Central Connect Airlines subsidiary. The airline still does not have any planes and will operate flights with aircraft leased from AirExplore, Czech Connect Airlines, Dubrovnik Airline or Corendon Airlines.

No direct flights between Prague and Venice are planned along the winter 2011/12 season. The route was downgraded as summer seasonal last year and the same decison has been made recently. The last service, operated by ATR42 every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday now, is on 29.10.2011.

Korean Air will increase capacity on Seoul - Prague service in August, operated Boeing 747-400 instead usual B777-200 on scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday direct flights. This is the second time we have the opportunity to see Korean Air B747-400 on Prague flights, it used to operate this type between 15.07.2004 and 21.08.2004 regularly too.

CSA Czech Airlines announced today that the Prague-Bratislava service will be suspended from August 1st. The reason given is that the passengers have moved to the new direct routes to several European capitals and SkyTeam hubs introduced last month.
