Travel Service has terminated SE-RJN Airbus A320 ACMI lease from Air Sweden. The c/n 169 aircraft, leased on 29.06.2010, departed from Prague to Lyon in Air Sweden c/s today evening. The other leased A320, PH-AAX from Amsterdam Airlines and G-STRP from Astraeus, will follow home from Prague next week.

On Monday morning 4th October 2010 another new L410UVP-E20 aircraft with serial no. 2724 (OK-SDT) took off from the Kunovice Airport. It is already the second plane delivered to Russia within this year. It will operate for regional passenger and cargo transport in Kamchatka region. The aircraft is delivered in the standard 19-seat configuration and is equipped with digital avionics including autopilot.

Traffic results of Prague Airport for August 2010 reported a year-on-year decrease by 2,4 % in passenger volumes to 1 308 083. The number of movements declined by 5,4 % to 15 043 take-offs and landings. The volume of air cargo achieved 4 863 tons, representing increase by 46%. Czech Airlines cancelled daily OK962/3 flights between Prague and Bratislava effective 31.10.2010, remaining only 2 daily Mo-Fr in comparison current 4 daily service. Three daily flights on Saturday and Sunday will decrease to 2 and 1 respectively. The affected passengers can ask for a refund of ticket price or accept change for other operative Slovakian flights.

EasyJet has announced it is pulling out of Doncaster - Prague connection just 8 months after launching this service. The last flight on this route (now 3x weekly, 2x effective November) is planned on 30.12.2010. This withdrawn relates to closing of Doncaster Sheffield easyJet base at the same time.
